Earnings estimates - In house and street earnings estimates are recorded for holdings and for target companies. They can be  manually entered or brought in daily from various research sources. Baseline®, Factset®, Orion®, WONDA®, FirstCall®, Research Direct®, etc.

Research Activities - Allows you to record important information obtained in discussions conducted during your research process with company management; discussions with customers, competitors, suppliers and brokers; company reports downloaded from web sites and additional company information available from other sources. Research activities can be related to other companies of similar interest and associated with industry groups.

Research Activities

It also allows you to relate that information to other companies in the database and to industry groups. The research information appears under the company who was contacted and also appears under all companies it was related to and the industry groups which it was associated.  The research information is captured in activity records. The two main research activity record types are:

    • Internal Contact Activity
      • These are activities (calls or meetings) held with a person who works for the company targeted for investment.
    • Trade Check Activity
      • These activities are calls or meetings held with customers, competitors of suppliers of the target company or with other industry professionals.

The research information not only appears under the company who was contacted but also appears under all companies it was related to or with which it was associated.
